Since i'm goinng to be away from a couple weeks I thought I might show you what makeup I'll be taking with me

I'm Back!

I know I don't have any readers or followers but I'm really sorry for being away. I really do enjoy blogging so I've really missed doing it. There's no particular reason why I've been away, I guess I just didn't find the motivation/inspiration to write about anything so I prefered not to do so.

But recently I've really been motivated to continue blogging as soon and much as I can.

I really didn't need to explain all this because nobody will read this, but just in case somebody does here's a little explanation on why I've been away.

I basically just wanted to say that I'm back so yeah:)

New New Arrangement!

Hey guys!
No, you didn't read the title wrong, I didn't spell it wrong either
A while ago I wrote a post telling you guys all about my new arrangement (which is supposed to be the one I'm following now) called 'New Arrangement'
But since I'm a student and I have lots and lots of homework, exams and projects (and the closer we get to the end of the school year, the more I will have) I've had quite the trouble following this arrangement. All of the posts require photos, and that's the most time consuming part and my main issue. Also, having to post stuff every single day isn't always possible because I've always got something to do. My least concerning issue, which is still an issue anyway, is having designated a specific type of post for every day of the week. Even though that makes the blog more organized and helps me find ideas so I don't have to sit down and think what I'm going to write about, sometimes I just don't have anything to write about at all. At first I thought this would be a great idea, because I would force myself to post something everyday with the excuse of having a section each day (I would be too lazy to write anything at all if I hadn't had it organized like that). But recently I've come across the conclusion that it's much better to post randomly whatever I come up with. That way I don't necessarily have to post something everyday and I can post an OOTD one day and post another one the next day, for example, without messing up the arrangement or having to wait till the following week to do so.
I feel like a more random arrangement will be much better for me and even for you guys too(?) I don't know, we shall see. This arrangement can obviously change again sometime, but I think I'm just going to try this out for a while and see how it goes

Woah, I'm 16!

I know I know, I haven't blogged for a week, but I have been sooooo busy lately! Initially, I was going to celebrate my birthday this saturday, but had to cancel it due to the bad weather and because many people couldn't go. But oh well, I guess I'll try again on friday.

Fun fact: one of my favourite weathers to photograph is wet and rainy weather (I don't know if it shows lol)

Stress, stress and more stress!

These past weeks I've been constantly in a hurry getting everything ready for my birthday party. For those of you who don't know already, It's my birthday next monday and (I'm obviously not going to celebrate it on a weekday) I'll be celebrating it this Saturday. Even after weeks of preparations, we still have some stuff to organize, buy, make, arrange and prepare. And if that wasn't stressful enough already, I have some really tough exams coming up in the next two weeks (they might not be finals, but they're quite tough). Also, if you didn't already know, I'm re-reading the Hunger Games and i'm starting to think it wasn't a good idea. I never like reading when I have a lot of stuff going on, I end up not enjoying the novel at all, and I can never find time to read. But this weekend I made an exception. Have you ever finished doing everything you had to do but you still feel like you've forgotten something, because you're constantly busy? Well, that's how I felt. Until I realised that, infact, I had finished everything I was supposed to do. That happened this past Saturday. It was such a lovely and sunny day I just could not waste.

This DIY was inspired by a tutorial I saw on youtube by MakeupbyMandy24. I thought it would be a good idea to replicate what she showed and explain you guys step by step how I did it. (Just letting that out as a little disclaimer. I know she didn't invent the idea, but she inspired this DIY)

The weather has changed so much since last week. Back then (it sounds like ages ago) it was a bit chilly and it even got cold. Now the heat is unbearable. I'm not complaining, infact, I quite like it. I finally get to wearthis baby.

I know it might not be the most informal dress (actually, it's a flowy onesie) or the most apropriate one to wear to school, but it's very easy to dress it up as well as down, like I did with my Vans.

I got this precious last summer at Topshop during my trip to Scotland. We don't have Topshops where I live (infact, I'd have to drive for HOURS to get to the nearest one), so I was very excited to find some there. I wasn't planning on going on an actual shopping spree (just the usual souvenir purchases) but I just couldn't resist buying a couple things. Plus this was on sale!

I've always wanted to take my camera everywhere and be one of those people that can make art out of the simplest things just using a camera. I usually do carry my camera with me everywhere I go, but I seem to miss all the good shots. Everything looks much prettier when I don't have my camera. But I guess that's the same with everything and everyone. Your nose is always itchy when your hands are busy.
Today's entry is not going to be that long, since nothing has really happened or changed these last days.
But hey, we got Dixie a little hamster ball!

I filmed and uploaded a Spring Haul (part 1) when spring break started (I don't really remember if it was before or once it had started, to be honest) and I just uploaded a second part as promised
I went in a couple stores but I ended up leaving most of them with bear hands. Fortunately, that never happens with Zara, so most of the items I got are from there

My favourite person in the world

This might sound like one of those school essays aboyt 'My Hero', and if I'd had the chance to write one, it would have most likely been about her. My all time favourite person in this whole wide world is my grandma. As well as loving her for the typical reasons everyone loves their grandma (she's a great cook, she lets me go to sleep and wake up late, she's caring, etc), I love her for the fantastic person she is. She is the most caring, funny, intelligent and loving person I've ever known. First of all, she cares more for us than she does for herself. She's always there if you need her and she can sometimes be 10 times better than a friend. She is so hilarious! She is so witty and amusing it's impossible not to have a great time with her. She is the smartest person ever. Even though she's 70 years old, she has the coolest car and yes, she can drive. She used to be a teacher but she retired about 3 or 4 years ago and she didn't find it funny at all. She loved being with the kids, I would have loved her to be my teacher. It's also fascinating how everything she touches she turns into gold. She has travelled EVERYWHERE! It's funny how she always takes my grandpa and uncle with her and they can't even keep up. She always brings me stuff from the places she visits and that's really cool cause she knows me very well and knows exactly what to get me.

Anyway, all this is because I stayed at her house yesterday and we haven't been alone in such a long time (my sister's always around). So she decided to give me this:

Pretty self explanatory. I'll be reviewing something I've recently bought or something that just needs to be reviewed. I say 'something' because it can be anything from a perfume or a book to makeup. 

DIY Thursday

I'll be teaching you how to make cute crafts by following some simple and detailed steps. I'll add pictures so that the instructions are much easier to follow.

I changed the upload day of my videos to fridays so I can share them with you guys. Here you will see extra footage like bloopers etc that you can't find in my Youtube channel, so stay tuned

That is more or less it for today. I'll start following this routine on monday, which means tomorrow I won't be posting anything. I'll also upload my new video today, but I'll start uploading them on friday next week.

#1 The best way to start the best day

It might seem logical to you, but the best way to start your day is having a nice breakfast. Yes, I know it's very straight forward, you don't need a degree in physics to know that breakfast is necessary. Although many people seem to ignore that. Even if you're in a hurry it is CRUCIAL that you eat something. Even if it's just a piece of toast or a couple of biscuits. But if you're like me and you're never in a hurry (at least not in the mornings), nourish your body with a nice breakfast.

Who is Aly?

Here is a small fact list that I thought would be interesting to begin with so that you guys get to know a bit about me starting from the beginning
-This is me:

 My name? Aly. It's not my real name, though. It's a nickname, people on the internet know me as Aly. I'm 15 years old, although not for very much longer since the 29th of this month is my 16th birhtday, and I'm actually very excited. I was born and still live in Spain. Yes, I am spanish. And yes, I speak fluent english. Anyway, back to the random facts











-I wear braces (the glasses are fake, by the way)

They're not painful at all and not that uncomfortable to be honest. But I just don't like how they look on my. I really admire the people who can pull them off and not look stupid. I'm also missing a tooth because they had to take it out as part of the whole braces process (it was a baby tooth, so I guess it will eventually grow out again)










-I LOVE tea (and Starbucks)

I'll usually have at least one mug of tea a day. I also have a really weird OCD where I'll only drink tea in this mug, I have no idea why. Obviously I'm not that stupid that I won't have my tea if it's not clean or  available. But luckily, it always is














-I collect small bags and clutches

I recently started collecting them (and by collecting them I just mean that I really like them and I just keep buying them, not that I don't use them and keep them in a armored glass urn or anything), so I don't have that many. But the fact that they don't fit anywhere anymore is a good sing (I guess)









-I was a very cute and happy child

But then school and whatnot happened and everything went wrong. The cuteness just faded away with time, that doesn't have anything to do with school, to be honest.












-I love reading

Which is ironic because I'm the slowest reader ever. Plust it always takes me ages to get into the story and start enjoying it. I don't know, I'm weird like that. And for some reason, instead of reading the book and then watching the movie like a normal person would do, I watch the movie and (if I liked it) I'll read the book. I hope I'm not the only one









-I'm OBSESSED with heels

Which is also ironic because I'm pretty tall and I've always felt very self-conscious about it even though many people felt jealous for some reason. I just couldn't see the advantages of it because I always looked like I was the mother of my friends (most of them were even older than me). But recently I've just been doing what makes me happy and this is one of those things. I don't care how high the heels are as long as I feel comfortable in them







-Another weird OCD of mine

Whenever I travel I always buy a pencil or a key holder AND I NEVER EVEN USE THEM. But why?? I still don't get why I do it! I have a Hard Rock Coffee cup full of pencils from lots of different places and a box full of key holders that I've never used and never plan on using. The best part is I'm probably going to buy more in the future








-I'm a Nikon girl

Although I'm probably going to get a Canon sometime soon (again, more irony). I just feel like this one is really uncomfortable when it comes to filming my videos (I make youtube videos, by the way. All the information is in my 'Youtube' link at the top of my blog). Most of the beauty gurus I follow use a Canon and I really like how their videos turn out, so I'll have to try one sometime.









-Proud owner of an iPhone 4S

Which I proudly purchased with my own money after ages of saving and having a half dead iPhone 3 which my friend Karina gave me because she didn't need it anymore. It was already super damaged when she gave it to me, so you can imagine how it was after months and months of using it. My new iPhone is like my baby. I cherish it more than my own life because my parents won't let me get another one until I'm like 50.








-I love fashion more than anything

I have no idea where this passion for fashion comes from, but it's just there. I used to design clothes a couple of years ago but I really sucked so I gave up. Recently I tried to try again but I still suck, so nevermind. My dream is to move to a big city and work as a fashion journalist, reporter or photographer. I don't really mind, but I feel like photography and fashion are my thing so, why not combine them?






-I like to think I'm  funny and outgoing 

I don't really know why, because in reality I'm super introverted and shy. I'm trying to work out my confidence issues bit by bit and I think I'm progressing at the moment. At least I manage to sit infront of a camera and talk to you guys. It might not seem that bad for you because I'm not physically talking to anyone. But deep down I know lots of people will watch my videos afterwards and I have to fight the anxiety.








And that's pretty much all that's interesting about me.
Oh, I thought I could also take this chance to talk a bit about what my blog is and stuff.
Well, to begin with I made this blog as a little experiment, because I already have a tumblr, but I don't post anything about fashion there and I thought this might be a good place. I was inspired by Zoella (which you will most likely know if you're into YouTube fashion) and Sprinkle of Glitter.
Here I'll just post makeup and fashion reviews, comments, oppinions, facts, tips and so on.
I'm still not sure, I'll see how it goes.
But anyway, I really hope you enjoy this blog and appreciate the effort I put into every single post:)
